Parent Involvement

Parents are welcome in their child’s room at any time. Parents may be asked to come into the classroom to share their experiences, talents, or cultures. Three times a year BDLC holds center-wide potluck dinners to give parents the opportunity to socialize. Each classroom also has a room parent that acts as a liaison between the administration and the parents, helps organize parent volunteers, and facilitates communication between parents in each room.

There are also other ways to be involved with BDLC. They range from assisting with the Scholastic Book orders to helping with the recycling for the school. Check the Volunteers tab for more information.
